Catholic Italian author Vittorio Messori, 84, died on Good Friday in Desenzano, Italy. One of his most influential works was The Ratzinger Report, which was based on an interview with Joseph Ratzinger conducted in 1984. The book evaluated the Church's condition following the Second Vatican Council. Messori also collaborated with Pope John Paul II on the book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. In it, the Pope wrote that Jesus Christ is the unique Saviour of humanity and that Christianity contains the fullness of revealed truth. Throughout his career, Messori was renowned for his loyalty to the Church, coupled with his intellectual independence. #newsKlrgxiolhj
Grant him, O Lord, eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. "Vittorio Messori—the most influential commentator on Vatican affairs—published an article in which he explained: 'That is to say, it has been revealed that Pope Benedict XVI had no intention of renouncing the *Petrinus munus*—neither the office nor the duties—which Christ Himself entrusted to the Head of the Apostles and which has been handed down to his successors.'" This means that, by *not* renouncing, there was no apostolic succession; consequently, both Bergoglio and Prevost are false popes. That is why Bergoglio did not wear the Ring of the Fisherman—nor, much less, does the successor to that apostate of unhappy memory, Jorge Bergoglio. (Pope Benedict XVI) “He left the papal throne but did not abandon his ministry,” explained Gänswein—something “almost impossible following his irrevocable acceptance of the …okunengi
So what happens when we refuse to see the truth….what is truth asks Pilate…there is truth..in this case it is Russia who is trying to make peace, not agitate for war….Are we so blind that we cannot see….
By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? McGovern thinks that Putin is trying to talk sense into trump. With Putin giving him the real cold Turkey saying, we can't let this go on so that Israel is destroyed and has no other option than to use nukes. It's always President Putin who tries to restore and make peace. This is why Russia is so Blessed. And why some hate the fact Putin was not involved in the epstein files as they had hoped. I lost count this year alone on how many times President Putin and Russia was rewarded for helping out others. No matter how much some try to make us hate Russia or Putin, the facts always speak louder than words. And they just can't handle that. By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mario Nawfal @MarioNawfal Saudi Arabia just killed its $38B desert skiing dream Saudi's megacity project NEOM abruptly canceled 2 massive contracts for Trojena, the insane plan to build the world’s first outdoor ski resort in the desert. The $5B dam for a man-made mountain lake and the steel for giant elevated ski runs? Both terminated. Years into construction with steel skeletons already towering over the mountains, the whole $38B geography defying fantasy is now effectively dead. Desert powder and Star Wars hotels… on ice. 04.04.2026 RATZINGER FOLLOWED RAHNER’S FACTUAL ERROR WHICH PRODUCES SCHISM AND CALLS FOR AUTOMATIC EXCOMMUNICATION : HE DID NOT TELL THE CHURCH ABOUT A RATIONAL AND NON SCHISMATIC ALTERNATIVE We no more have a schismatic Church created with a fake premise and inference and so the conclusion is non traditional. We have a rational and orthodox choice. LIBERALS HAD TO BE EXCOMMUNICATED It was Ratzinger, Rahner, Congar, Balthazar and Kung and others, who had to be excommunicated since Karl Rahner’s LG 16 visible premise was heresy and schism. Rahner’s book, ‘The Christian of the Future’, has no support in Vatican Council II,rational. Rahner’s books need to be pulled back. Franciscan Father Francesco Patton wrote the meditations for tonight's Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum in Rome with Pope Leo XIV. Fr Patton served as Custos of the Holy Land from 2016 to 2025. On April 1, he told VaticanNews.va that the inspiration comes from "current reality" and that the meditations are meant to inspire political "change". The Vatican press office published the text today. Traditionally a penitential and contemplative devotion, the Via Crucis is repurposed here as a vehicle for contemporary socio-political reflection. The text shifts from the Passion of Christ to war, refugees, human trafficking, surveillance, deportation, the media, the economy, prisons, hostages, and crackdowns on protests. Notably absent, however, are abortion, euthanasia, and gender ideology. One acclamation reads: "For migrants, the displaced, and refugees: Comfort us, O Mother." In the first station, the meditation talks about political and economic power "to start or end a war… the power …okunengi
The Catholic Church is preparing for another RECORD BREAKING surge of baptisms by young adults TONIGHT as over 20,000 people will join the church at the Easter Vigil
On Good Friday in Clonmel, hundreds joined the Way of the Cross to Holy Cross Hill. Led barefoot by Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, the pilgrimage, organised by Indian Catholics, reflected unity, devotion and shared faith.
"We have damaged the liturgy," said Cardinal Robert Sarah in a video interview with Le Figaro Idées (April 2). "It is too noisy. Too noisy. As if we were celebrating ourselves." He warned against reducing worship to mere "conviviality", insisting that a more sober liturgy celebrates the greatness of God. Cardinal Sarah also said: "Today, we practically never speak about salvation," and cautioned that "if the Church does not speak about the soul and what will happen to it after death, then it fails in its mission."
«L’Église a abimé la liturgie de la messe. Elle est trop bruyante ! C’est comme si on se célébrait nous-même. C’est devenu un moment convivial, alors que nous sommes là pour adorer Dieu, il faut une liturgie qui adore Dieu. On ne parle plus du salut et de l’âme !», se désole le cardinal Robert Sarah dans Le Club Le Figaro
