Vittorio Messori Has Died

Catholic Italian author Vittorio Messori, 84, died on Good Friday in Desenzano, Italy.
One of his most influential works was The Ratzinger Report, which was based on an interview with Joseph Ratzinger conducted in 1984. The book evaluated the Church's condition following the Second Vatican Council.
Messori also collaborated with Pope John Paul II on the book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. In it, the Pope wrote that Jesus Christ is the unique Saviour of humanity and that Christianity contains the fullness of revealed truth.
Throughout his career, Messori was renowned for his loyalty to the Church, coupled with his intellectual independence.

🙏🙏🙏Grant him, O Lord, eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.🙏🙏🙏
"Vittorio Messori—the most influential commentator on Vatican affairs—published an article in which he explained: 'That is to say, it has been revealed that Pope Benedict XVI had no intention of renouncing the *Petrinus munus*—neither the office nor the duties—which Christ Himself entrusted to the Head of the Apostles and which has been handed down to his successors.'"
This means that, by *not* renouncing, there was no apostolic succession; consequently, both Bergoglio and Prevost are false popes. That is why Bergoglio did not wear the Ring of the Fisherman—nor, much less, does the successor to that apostate of unhappy memory, Jorge Bergoglio.
(Pope Benedict XVI) “He left the papal throne but did not abandon his ministry,” explained Gänswein—something “almost impossible following his irrevocable acceptance of the …Aswan

So what happens when we refuse to see the truth….what is truth asks Pilate…there is truth..in this case it is Russia who is trying to make peace, not agitate for war….Are we so blind that we cannot see….

McGovern thinks that Putin is trying to talk sense into trump. With Putin giving him the real cold Turkey saying, we can't let this go on so that Israel is destroyed and has no other option than to use nukes.
It's always President Putin who tries to restore and make peace. This is why Russia is so Blessed. And why some hate the fact Putin was not involved in the epstein files as they had hoped. I lost count this year alone on how many times President Putin and Russia was rewarded for helping out others. No matter how much some try to make us hate Russia or Putin, the facts always speak louder than words. And they just can't handle that.

Has the lethal radiation issue from the Van Allen Belt been resolved?

O Mary, be my Mother! The mother who gave me birth taught me to know your Son and you, but you teach me how I can love Him and you with the hottest love! Though I constantly repeat: I love Jesus, I love Mary, this word will not warm the heart unless your grace comes to my aid. As you looked with pity on your Son falling under the Cross, so look also on me, falling under the Cross. As you looked with mercy on those who placed the Cross on your Son, so look also on me, for I belong to their number! But I no longer want to belong to them! With your help, I want to work on myself, and as many tears of sorrow as I have wrung from you, so many tears of repentance I want to bring you as an offering! You did not turn away from me when I avoided you. You will not reject me when I return to you! I do not ask: free me from the Cross, but I beg you, free me from sin! O Mary, calm the sorrows of my soul, or rather, through sorrow, let me come to love. We ask this through the merits of your Son, who …Aswan

The Way of the Cross – Beautiful Meditations by Fr. K. Antoniewicz, 1923

STATION I
Jesus is condemned to death.
“He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.” (Isaiah 53:7)

V. We praise You, O Lord Jesus Christ, and we bless You.
R. Because by Your holy Cross, You have redeemed the world
.
The Lord of heaven and earth, our sweetest Savior, stands as the greatest criminal and offender before Pilate! He who will come to judge the whole world in glory and majesty has humbled Himself to be judged by one wicked man! O my dear Jesus, where is Your glory and majesty? A crown of thorns and a scepter of reed! And the people, gathered in crowds, shout and scream: “Crucify Him, crucify Him!” And the Savior does not open His mouth, He listens and… is silent! And Pilate pronounces the sentence of death—a cruel, painful, shameful death, the death of the Cross! And the Savior is silent, and without complaint or murmuring, He accepts this most unjust sentence, this most wicked verdict! O shame and …

Saudi Arabia just killed its $38B desert skiing dream Saudi's megacity project NEOM abruptly canceled 2 massive contracts for Trojena, the insane plan to build the world’s first outdoor ski resort in the desert. The $5B dam for a man-made mountain lake and the steel for giant elevated ski runs? Both terminated. Years into construction with steel skeletons already towering over the mountains, the whole $38B geography defying fantasy is now effectively dead. Desert powder and Star Wars hotels… on ice.

Leo XIV’s Way of the Cross: Reflections on Social Injustice - Migration, Economy, and Politics

Franciscan Father Francesco Patton wrote the meditations for tonight's Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum in Rome with Pope Leo XIV. Fr Patton served as Custos of the Holy Land from 2016 to 2025.
On April 1, he told VaticanNews.va that the inspiration comes from "current reality" and that the meditations are meant to inspire political "change".
The Vatican press office published the text today. Traditionally a penitential and contemplative devotion, the Via Crucis is repurposed here as a vehicle for contemporary socio-political reflection.
The text shifts from the Passion of Christ to war, refugees, human trafficking, surveillance, deportation, the media, the economy, prisons, hostages, and crackdowns on protests. Notably absent, however, are abortion, euthanasia, and gender ideology.
One acclamation reads: "For migrants, the displaced, and refugees: Comfort us, O Mother."
In the first station, the meditation talks about political and economic power "to start or end a war… the power …Aswan

The East is calling on Putin for help. Not trump!

First remember, it was trump who called Putin 3 weeks ago for help out of the mess he made. Yet didn't listen to him. Now they are turning to Putin to help end this madness that trump and bibi made.
Unfortunately, not even Putin can stop this. That is not what GOD wants. That is not His Will for peace. Not our time.

Putin, positioning Russia as the region's sole credible stabilizer, has formally opened what the Kremlin is calling a coordinated mediation track — with spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirming Russia stands ready to make its "strongest contribution" to …Aswan

"We have damaged the liturgy," said Cardinal Robert Sarah in a video interview with Le Figaro Idées (April 2). "It is too noisy. Too noisy. As if we were celebrating ourselves." He warned against reducing worship to mere "conviviality", insisting that a more sober liturgy celebrates the greatness of God. Cardinal Sarah also said: "Today, we practically never speak about salvation," and cautioned that "if the Church does not speak about the soul and what will happen to it after death, then it fails in its mission."

«L’Église a abimé la liturgie de la messe. Elle est trop bruyante ! C’est comme si on se célébrait nous-même. C’est devenu un moment convivial, alors que nous sommes là pour adorer Dieu, il faut une liturgie qui adore Dieu. On ne parle plus du salut et de l’âme !», se désole le cardinal Robert Sarah dans Le Club Le Figaro

In Milan, four contemporary artists dialogue …
